My heart goes out to the family and close friends of Joseph. My soul truly hurt when I heard this devastating news. I have gotten to know Joe over the past several years at the Prior Lake VFW. He always greeted me with a great big hug and a “Hello, Beautiful Miranda!” I truly looked forward to seeing him when I went to the VFW. There are several pieces of advice he gave me that I will never forget, and hours of conversation over the years that I have always cherished. One thing for sure, is he made me feel like the most beautiful woman on the planet. He always reminded me how beautiful I was, and he made sure that I never forgot. I will never forget that I am a beautiful woman because of Joe. He was such a wonderful man and will truly be missed by so many people.

Dear Ann, Katie, Charlie, and Michael. I am going to miss my friend Joe. I’m sure you are all going to miss him more. He was very proud of all of you. When he and I would go to Twins games, he would spend most of the time talking about all of you, and filling me in on what you were up to. Take care.
