Drive Through Visitation Map for Prior Lake
This is a difficult time for everyone, especially families suffering the loss of a loved one. We will work hard to help them through their loss while also navigating the special circumstances surrounding our National Emergency. We invite everyone to join us in doing their part to keep our communities safe.
Funeral Homes and Crematories are considered essential services in Minnesota. Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation is open and will continue to care for our dead and their families with the highest level of respect & care.
Planning and Scheduling Services
For everyone’s health and safety, we practice social distancing when meeting with families in-person. We also offer families the option of meeting over the phone and through email if they prefer.
(All services have been in compliance with CDC and MDH recommendations as well as Executive Orders from our Governor.)
Visitations and Funeral Services
Our buildings are open for in-person visitations and funeral services. We are now able to have up to 50% of our normal capacity at our funeral homes. We have taken extra steps to allow for safe social distancing in compliance with MDH guidelines.
Visitors are asked to wear masks, use hand sanitizer and practice social distancing keeping 6 feet between households. The community’s health and safety are our top priority.
Streaming Funeral Services
With current restrictions, we are limited 50% of our normal capacity at a funeral service. Many families have taken advantage live streaming so extended family and friends who can’t attend services in-person can participate safely from their homes.
Jean Breeggeemann is our pre-planning expert. She’d be happy to schedule a meeting with you or send some helpful materials for you to review in your own home. We encourage everyone to share your wishes with your family; it is truly a gift.
