Zoya Skripsts

The late afternoon of Thursday, February 7, 2013, Zoya, age 68 and a resident of Faribault, passed away peacefully at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was born on Thursday, August 10, 1944 in Germany to parents August and Sonia Skripsts. Zoya loved the color red and her favorite day was Valentine’s Day.

Deeply missed and remember always by those who loved Zoya, sister, Larisa (Butch Hunter) Johnson of Prior Lake; brother, Victor Skripsts of Belle Plaine; nieces and nephews, Kenneth (Tina Marie Anderson) Johnson, Leland (Tess) Johnson, Melanie (Leroy) Rabenort, Randy Johnson, Fred (Danielle) Phelps; great- nieces and nephews, Heather (Joe) Van Guilder, April (Chris Schneider) Sprank, Leif (Danielle) Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Alissa Johnson, Shayla Johnson, Amber Johnson; great-great nieces and nephews, Charlie, Ella and Quentin Van Guilder, Allen and Marius Johnson, Carter Johnson and Amiliah Baker.

Zoya is preceded in death by parents, August and Sonia. Pall bearers for Zoya will be Leroy Rabenort, Leland Johnson, Ken Johnson and Heather Van Guilder.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, February 14 at 11 am, with visitation one hour prior all at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake. Pastor Mark Holman will preside. Zoya will be laid to rest next to her mother at Spring Lake Cemetery in Prior Lake, MN.

The Skripsts/Johnson family is served with honor, care and compassion by Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Prior Lake Chapel.
