Condolences for the family of “Ventia Liebert”

Condolence from Sheila Devine Lambrecht on August 21st, 2014 10:10 am

Venita was our Santa claus. My mom Mary jo Devine worked w/ Venita in Jordan. We were a poor family and many many years the only gifts we got were from her. My family has always remembered her and have paid the kindness forward to others now in need.
She wasnt just a Christmas gift. She and my mom were good friends. My mom has been gone 25 years now and we still are so thankful for their relationship. When I drive by the old house in Jordan i always would wonder where she was and how she was doing. Now i know she is in Heaven!
God be with you during this time,
Sheila

Condolence from Diann Personius Hovland on August 21st, 2014 10:13 am

I remember your mom well. She was a very nice lady. Our families were together some when we were young. Vivian and I were friends and played together often. I remember one time being at your house and your mom made fudge. It was so good. My mom and dad were Roy and Clarice Personius. I think of your family when I come to Jordan as I go past the farm on the hill. Our sympathy to your family. May the Lord give you comfort.

Condolence from Joanne Devine O’Loughlin on August 21st, 2014 10:59 am

I am Mary Jo Devines daughter also, Venita was deeply loved by all of us. She worked with our grandmother and mom at Valley View in Jordan.
She also live across the ally from grandma, Evelyn Moriarty. When we would go visit grandma the first question from my sister’s and I was can we go to Venitas house. We would run over there and she would let us in as if she were waiting for us to get there. She always had cookies and milk for us to snack on and sat and visited with us as if what we had to say was interesting!

What a jewel of a human she was. She has been missed through the years, and thought of fondly quite often

Know that you are in our prayers
Joanne Devine O’Loughlin
