On April 14, 1959, in Princeton MN, Tim was born the second of eight children to parents, Larry and Jeanne (Hanson) Moses. Raised in Big Lake until the age of 9, Tim’s family then moved to South Minneapolis. He attended and graduated from West High School in 1977. Tim enjoyed playing community sports and was an exceptional athlete.

Life for Tim was all about family. He relished being a husband and father. In January of 1983, he married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Trout. They were truly blessed with six beautiful children, Amber, Zachariah, Azure, Zephaniah, Ariel, and Zedekiah. As a family, they enjoyed vacationing at his dad’s cabin. Many memories were created together snowmobiling, grilling, sitting by bonfires, visiting the local attractions and just being together. Tim also treasured the simple times as a dad and grandpa, going out to lunch, watching TV and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Tim had a great sense of humor.

Tim learned the trade of a Master Electrician. He worked 10 plus years at Mettler Electric and then for over 20 years was the owner and operator of A-Z Electric. A company named after his children.

A huge sports fan, Tim spent countless hours watching and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, Timberwolves, Twins, and Wild/North Stars. He also loved watching NASCAR and playing golf with family and friends. In 1999, Tim was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy, but through it all, he preserved.

Left to honor Tim’s life and mourn the death are his children, Amber Moses, Zachariah Moses, Azure Moses, Zephaniah Moses, Ariel Moses, Zedekiah Moses; best friend of 40 years, Sharon (Gary) Miller; grandchildren, Cherish Christensen, Arianna Long-Moses, Harmony Christensen, Vivian Bessermin, Caleb McHale; mother, Jeanne Larson; father, Larry (Bev) Moses; siblings, Jerry (Renee) Moses, David (Jenny) Moses, Curt (Sarah) Moses, Janelle (Alan) Hannemann, James (Rawni) Moses, Steve (Lisa) Mettler, Jen (Mike) Grant; parents-in-law, Curly and Joyce Trout; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vern (Cassie) Ricker, Roger (Kimmy) Ricker, Harry (Cheryl) Trout, Shannon (Daniel) Trout-Hubert, Joe (Robin) Trout; and many other loving relatives and devoted friends.

It was saddening to hear about Tim. I have not seen any of yous for a very long time but the image of your whole family has always been in my thoughts. He must have been very proud of the beautiful family he was blessed with. He always seemed to be a hard worker for his family. I always respected that about him. Each of you are in my prayers. I hope in the upcoming days you feel Gods comforting arms around you and eventually find the peace in knowing that this separation will not be forever. Take Care.

I am sorry to hear this news. While I was younger, Tim, Kinky and I would cruise around in either Tim’s Light Blue Ford or Kinky’s Chevelle. I recall fun times at our family farm in the 70s, and the Cabooze when I came back to visit from college in th 80s.
I was always amazed at Tim’s verticle jump, and asked him how he could do it. He told me to keep trying to jump up and touch the net or basketball rim, you will eventually get better and better.
I will not be able to make it to the funeral as I am in Alaska (and have been for the past 26 years). Sharon, I wish you and your family the best throughout this time of difficulty. Your friend, Cal Larson
