Peter, Diane, and Kathleen Antonsen will be honored with an ice cream and popcorn social on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 1:00-3:00 PM, with brief reflections at 1:30 PM, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake, MN.
Peter George was born on May 9, 1933, in St. Paul, MN, to Clarence and Louise (Ulrich) Antonsen. As a young boy, he lived on different farms in southern Minnesota. Pete was sports minded and enjoyed a good game of golf. He spent over 40 years working as a heavy diesel mechanic for Ziegler Caterpillar. Pete passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
Ruby Diane was born on July 18, 1937, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Leroy and Gertrude (Christensen) Fabre. She loved growing on the family farm in Waubun, MN, with brother Wimp. Diane spent decades working the family birth unit at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, in Shakopee, MN. She passed peacefully on May 5, 2021.
Peter and Diane were married on September 25, 1959, in Waubun. They settled in Prior Lake to raise their daughters Kathleen and Kristen. Family was always center in their lives.
Kathleen Kay was born on November 4, 1961, in Mankato, MN. She spent her career following in her mother’s path as a register nurse. Kathy had this infectious personality and lit up any room. She passed unexpectedly on December 23, 2019.
Now that COVID is ending, we can come together as family and friends to honor their lives.

Such wonderful people are missed by so many. My condolences to you all. I pray that memories of happy times, and knowing God is with you in your grief helps comfort you. Love to you all!
I miss seeing Pete and Diane on Sunday mornings as they always sat in the pew directly in front of Jim and me in Church. They always shared a smile and a greeting. Such wonderful people. My condolences to you all and hope you will be comforted by all the great memories that were made over the years.
My sympathies to your family on the loss of your sister/aunt, dad/grandfather and mom/grandmother. What a difficult couple of years it has been. Sorry I can’t be there to celebrate their lives with you, but know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

So very sorry for the many losses you and your family have endured in such a short time. I didn’t know Kathy nor your parents had passed away. I discovered in the course of mourning my sister, Terri. I remember what a special friendship Kathy and Terri had and then for both to pass away at such a young age in less than a year is tragic.
If I’d have seen this notice sooner, we (Mom Louise and me) would been present to offer our condolences in person.
