Ruth Margaret Rogers was born on January 20, 1914 in Cresco, Iowa, to parents Richard and Rose (Nayman) Lundgren. A resident of Shakopee, Ruth passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at St. Gertrude’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shakopee, MN.

Forever loved, Ruth will be deeply missed by children, Mark Rogers, Allan Rogers, Rita (Jerry) Knight; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jon) Kalupa, Tianna (Justin) Opheim, Lindsey (Scott) Berry, Stacy Rogers, Cortnie (Curt) Helegson; great-grandchildren, Kaelie, Nicholas and Dillon Bronk, Prestyn and Raelyne Helegson, Jack Berry; step-granddaughter, Cathy Lynam; step-great-grandchildren, Christopher Knight and Megan Lynam; other loving relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, July 16 at 1 pm., with visitation one hour prior all at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake. Jean Breeggemann will lead the service.
