Robert F. Eckelman age 83 of Prior Lake, MN died on November 8, 2016 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN. He was born June 1, 1933 in Toledo, OH. He married Patricia Ann Healey on October 20, 1956. He was a proud Army Veteran.
He is survived by children, Bob (Terri) Eckelman, Lorri (John) Gross, Mark (Becky) Eckelman, Steve (Linda) Eckelman, Paul (Thuy) Eckelman, Eric Eckelman, Kurt (Kathy) Eckelman, Carl (Emily) Eckelman; grandchildren, Zach (Rachel), Mandi (Josh), Cole (Jordyn), John (Laurie), Andy, Nikki, Samantha (Jeramey), Katie, Erik, Emerson, Ashley (Eric), Lindsay;great grandchildren, Savannah, Hannah, Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; parents, Frederick and Iva Eckelman; siblings, Harvey Eckelman, Wilfred Eckelman, Sonny Eckelman.
Private family services will be held.

To the family of Bob Eckelman,
My mother, Pat Sammis, loved Bob and will miss him terribly. He was such a special, kind and sharing person.
I remember the first time I met him and he gave me some of his favorite salsa from New Mexico. He didn’t know me – he simply liked to give!
We are so sorry for your loss and wish you peace.
