Reola V. Langer was only 5 days short of her 96th birthday, when she passed away peacefully on July 21, 2016, at Northfield Care Center, Northfield, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial, led by Father Thomas Joseph, will be held on Monday, July 25 at 11 am, with a visitation starting at 9:30 am, all at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Jordan, MN. Reola will be laid to rest at St. John’s Calvary Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Jeff Rezac, Andy Rezac, Jacob Rezac, Laura Rezac, Adrien Jacobson and Sheri Jaques.
George and Della (Brewer) Peterson proudly announced the birth of their daughter, Reola Vera born on July 26, 1920 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She married Carlyle “Carl” on April 7, 1942 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Jordan, MN. They were blessed with four children, George. Sharon, Robert and James
Left to honor Reola’s life and mourn the death are her children, Sharon Rezac, Robert (Nancy) Langer: daughter-in-law, Carolyn Langer; grandchildren, Jeff (Stephanie) Rezac, Andy (Jenny) Rezac, Aaron (Kate) Langer, Adrien (Chris) Jacobson, Brett Langer, Sheri (Ray) Jacques, Eric (Jennifer) Ashburn, Elizabeth (Jeremy) McConnell; 18 great-grandchildren; good friend, Sandy Chapman; many relatives and friends.
Reola is preceded in death by husband, Carlyle; sons, George Langer, James Langer; son-in-law, Jim Rezac; parents, George and Della; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

My condolences to Reola’s family, especially Carolyn Langer. I had the privilege of being the hospice nurse for George Langer, Reola’s son and Carolyn’s husband. While I never met Reola, Carolyn often spoke of her.
My thoughts are with you all.
