Even without taking a breath, Peighton Rose Wood touched the lives of all those around her. On Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 8:32 pm at St Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN, parents, Josh Wood and Melinda Gerold held their precious baby girl in their arms. Big sister Teaghan thought she had the most beautiful baby sister ever. Peighton had Trisomy 13 and was delivered after 32 weeks of pregnancy.
The family will honor Peighton with a Mass of the Angels on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 am, with a time of gathering starting at 9:30 am, all at The Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne (Marystown) 15850 Marystown Road, Shakopee, MN. Father Marcus Milless will preside. Her father, Josh will carry Peighton with her uncles, Chris McTamany, Ryan Wood, Brandon Gerold and Jeff Gerold at his side. She will be laid to rest with her great-grandpa, Ray Gerold at St. Mary of Marystown Catholic Cemetery.
Peighton’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her loving parents, Josh Wood and Melinda Gerold; big sister, Teaghan; grandparents, Sharon M. Wood, Paul A Wood, Peggy Wood, Colleen (Ed Webber) Everett, Ken (Cheryl) Gerold; great-grandma, Dolores Gerold; many uncles, aunts and cousins.
She was welcomed into heaven by great-grandparents and other relatives.
