Pat was a very special person carrying with her much compassion and love for all around her. She embraced everyone as if they were family and had this amazing ability to make you feel loved. Pat raised four amazing boys and had the joy of watching them grow in to the men they are today. With out a doubt she loved her grandchildren! I am so sorry for your loss and I know your hearts are hurting But she is at peace now and the love for her will continue. She will be missed tremendously. Hugs and prayers for those she has left behind.

Condolence from Julie Haynes on November 4th, 2014 11:55 am

What can you say about such an amazing woman? All that knew her were blessed to be in her presence. I remember the first day I met Pat (Grammie). I was still pregnant with my daughter Katie. Looking for a caregiver for when I go back to work after my maternity leave was over. I went for one visit, just one is all it took for me to see that this woman had all the love and compassion I wanted for my daughter to have while I was away at work. I trusted Pat with my baby girl and 3 yrs later my baby boy. I not only gained a friend for life, but another Mother, my children another Grammie. She taught me things then that I would use later in my life. I am so sorry for your loss Stan, Meagan, Whitney and Stanley. Your Mother was a blessing to us all and she loved you all so very much. She is at peace, I know that still doesn’t make it easy on you. But her love will continue on in each of you and in all of us that she touched. Love, Hugs and prayers. Julie and Greg Haynes

Dear Uncle John, A neighbor friend just passed who was a huge part of our growing up in Prior Lake. I then clicked on Mom’s obit and saw your message. First and most imortantly please accept our apologizes if no one returned your message. The day of mom’ memorial was very busy and then I left the next day without checking. I hope all is well with you and your family. My work email address is: msimmons@shanti.org. Have a great holiday! Love, Matthew

Condolence from Anna Lanz on November 8th, 2014 5:14 pm

Dear Simmons family,
Expressing my sympathy to you for your loss of a mother and a grandmother. As you loved her I know she loved and adored all of you. Pat and I had many good talks; bringing light to each others lives. When I stayed with Pat and Chris helping her with medications and some doctor visits, I watched her become closer to peace with her inner self through her close family life and her book studies. She cherished her times with all of you and her friends. She had great happiness spending time and conversations with you, and she would want you to continue your path in happiness and remember the good times we are here together to share.

Be blessed

-Anna Lanz
