Patricia “Pat” Moravec, age 82 of Prior Lake, MN, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She will be laid to rest at a private service at Glencoe City Cemetery.
On June 6, 1939, in Amery, WI, parents Wesley and Helen Schmidt celebrated the birth of their daughter, Pat Moravec. She grew up in St. Croix Falls, WI and Richfield, MN.
Following her graduation from Richfield High School, Pat entered the workforce. For many years she was a secretary with Sperry Rand and UNIVAC.
Pat was a loving and dedicated mother, wife, and sister. An artistic woman, she had many interests, playing the organ, photography, needle crafts, decorating and painting. Pat had a great love of travel and especially of her beloved Canadian Rockies, where Pat made annual trips for many years, photographing the trains, scenery, and wildlife. Family members many times joined her on her Canadian excursions, in particular her brother, Roger, who shared Pat’s passion for photographing the mountains and trains. She had a big heart, loved animals, and had a great sense of humor.
Forever loved, Pat will be missed by her daughter, Cheryl Clark and brother, Roger (Helen “Tammy”) Schmidt. She is also survived by extended family, Mari Moravec, Robert Moravec, Kathy Behnke, Martin Moravec; other relatives and friends.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moravec; parents, Wesley and Helen Schmidt; brother, Robert Schmidt.

Roger and Cheryl – Pat is at peace and will forever be remembered for her faith, love of music , animals, and family. I admired her for her independence , love for traveling, humor and laughter, and organ playing and faith. Our prayers are with you.
