Michael “Mike” Schroeder, age 70 of Jordan, passed away peacefully at Oak Terrace on Monday, June 18, 2018.
On April 6, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois Mike was born to parents Mr. & Mrs. William Schroeder. Throughout his life, Mike was a good-natured man who appreciated the little things—especially time spent with family and friends.
In his last years, Mike faced many health challenges. Regardless, he preserved and made the best of his time. His family wants to extend their gratitude to the staff of Oak Terrace Senior Living for the care and comfort they provided to Mike.
Mike will be greatly missed by his life partner, Kay Martinson; children, Vicki Geiske, Joseph (Holly) Schroeder; step children; Miranda Martinson, Troy (Laura) Martinson; 13 grandchildren; other loving relatives and friends. He is greeted in Heaven by his parents.
Mike’s Celebration of Life will be held at Oak Terrace Senior Living facility in Jordan, MN on Friday, June 29th, from 3 – 5PM

To the family and friends,
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one.
Job 14:15 says: “You (God)will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.” Yes, God longs to bring our loved ones back to life again! It is not like they will be gone forever. There will be a resurrection as you can read at Acts 24:15.
In the mean time, we can have comfort in taking in knowledge of the Bible, which contains God’s future purpose for the earth and people on it. If would like free Bible studies you may ask any one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to make arrangements.
