Mavonne Kay Richardson died peacefully at her home on December 15, 2016 at the age of 65. Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, December 21st at 11:00am with gathering time from 9:30-11:00 all at St. James Lutheran Church, 3650 Williams Drive, Burnsville, MN. Reverend Dr. Walt Lichtenberger will preside. David Richardson and Darrell Dahl will act as urn bearers. A private interment will held at a later date.
Mavonne Kay Richardson was born on November 6, 1951 to Grace and Donald Farnquist. She graduated from Burnsville Senior High School in 1969. She worked for Hot Shot in Savage for 38 Years. Most recently she was employed by the Quality Inn in Savage as a night clerk.
She is survived by her son, David Richardson of Montgomery; sisters, Carol Corson of Austin, TX, Barbara Freeman of Montevideo, MN; brother, Lane (Beverly) Farnquist of Prior Lake; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Darrell Dahl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Grace (Johnson) Farnquist; sister, Jeanne Dean; niece, Marnie Dean; nephew, Mason Farnquist.
The Richardson Family is served with compassion and care by Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation, Prior Lake Chapel.

I was so sad & so sorry to hear about Vonnie. Thank you Barbara for letting me know. It is times like this that I wish we had taken more time to get to know each other better. It seems we are all so busy with work & family that some of the important parts of life gets missed.
