Landon and family, we are very saddened to hear of the news. Your father was always so kind to all of us, especially Olin. We will miss seeing him at the home games. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence from Jason and Nancy Witt on March 14th, 2023 12:42 pm

Brenda and Family,

Matt and I crossed paths while he was a coach and member of the hockey development committee with NPHA. His hockey insight was invaluable and his calm demeanor was a needed quality in situations, like tryouts and parent concerns, that proved his kindness and humanity as a person. Always one to shy away from the spotlight, he was a respected voice that brought a sense of stability to sometimes challenging situations. Landon spent time at our house for pregame meals with our son Luke. On the quieter side, around Nancy and I, Landon was a respectful and thankful young man, much like his father. It is hard to understand why some of the best humans have their lives cut short. Know that he made an impact on others during his life on earth. Sending prayers to the Peterson Family.

Mark and Linda Kroeger Family
Matt was truly respected by me and others from Elmhurst-Chicago Stone Company. He was my, “Go To Guy” at McNeilus. I could always count on him to respond quickly with answers to any questions I had. Always true to his word. I enjoyed our personal conversations also. He will be missed by all!
My condolences to his Wife, Children and Mother.
