A longtime resident of Jordan, Marion Frank was 92 years old, when she entered eternal life on Thursday afternoon, August 4, 2016, at McKenna Crossings, Prior Lake, MN. There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 11 am, with visitation two hour prior all at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 313 East Second Street, Jordan, MN. Father Timothy Yanta will preside. Urn bearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons and flower bearers will be granddaughters and great-granddaughters. Marion will be laid to rest with her husband at Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN.
On June 4, 1924, Marion June was born to parents, Roland and Florence (Steckman) Lehnert in Blakely Township, MN. She married George Thomas Frank on February 2, 1946 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Le Sueur, MN. They were blessed with eight children, Tom, Jane, Gail, Paul, Ann, Julie, Nancy and Laurie.
Marion was a remarkable wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Throughout life, her family was the main focus and everything to Marion. She was also an incredible friend to many. Marion had this wonderful and warm personality that drew you to her, making you feel so very special. People instantly loved her! Marion was an amazing cook and baker. She loved to feed people, especially her chocolate birthday cakes. Over time, Marion faced many trials and tribulations and handled them all with grace and acceptance.
Left to honor Marion’s life and mourn the death are her children, Tom (Anita) Frank, Jane (Marty) Christiansen, Gail (Ross) Peterson, Paul Frank, Ann (John) Fruetel, Julie (Dan) Ludden, Laurie Frank; grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Frank, Scott (Melissa) Frank, Marty (Jean) Christiansen, Michelle Messerich, John (Carla) Christiansen, Brian (Elisabeth) Peterson, Sara (Jim) May, Andrew (Andie) Peterson, Katie (Trent) Reese, Dan Frank, Joseph (Katie) Ludden, Anthony (Sarah) Ludden, Hannah (Travis Sagedahl) Ludden; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Rusty, Erica, Alex, Matt, Steve, Michael, Emma, Chad, Nate, Josie, Jenna, Ryan, Evan, Hollan, Emmett, Lyla, Eve, Thomas, Adler, Lucy, Ruby, Marion, Clara Belle: sister, Donna (Connie) Denzer; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Marion is preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Nancy and parents, Roland and Florence.

Dear Frank Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. Marion was a wonderful women. I have fond memories in my childhood of both Aunt Marion, and Uncle Bud, at their home with the pinball machine, gum balls, and of course those golf cart rides. Sorry that I will not be able to share my sympathy in person. I know that Marion has been welcomed home by loving arms.

Marion was one of the sweetest, funniest, kindest people to ever grace our store. When she and George would come in they always had us laughing.
