Lois A. Schauer, 84, of Shakopee, MN passed away on February 2, 2024.

A Christian Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation time from 10-11:00 AM all at Living Hope Lutheran Church, 8600 Horizon Drive, Shakopee. Pastor Rod Pudell will preside. Lois will be laid to rest at Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Gardens in Baxter, MN, at a later date.

Lois was born on April 2, 1939 in Henderson MN to Lena Fries. She graduated from Henderson High School. Lois married Dennis Schauer on September 20, 1958. In the early years of their marriage they lived and worked a farm in Arlington, MN and managed a mobile home park in Mankato, Mn. They later moved to Montrose, MN where Lois was a member of the Montrose Lioness club for many years. She and Dennis have always been in business for themselves, owning the 12-HI Mobile Home park and the 12-HI Superette in Montrose. Once retired, they spent part of each year in Mesa, AZ and the rest of the year in Deerwood, MN. She loved to stitch, play cards, go fishing and put together puzzles. Lois also loved watching MN sports teams play on TV, sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds and spending time with family and friends.

Lois is loved and will be missed by daughters, Tammy (Lonnie) Weber and Terry Schauer (Pat Larkin); grandchildren, Justinne Matthees and Josh (Sammy) Matthees; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Layla Matthees; siblings, Gloria (Roger) Hilgers, Judy (Jim) Madden, and Carol (Ron) Otto; sister-in-law, Bobbette Schauer; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She will be reunited in heaven with her husband, Dennis Schauer; parents, Henry and Lena Bird; siblings, Carl (Sharon) Bird, Phyllis Westphal, Milan Bird, and Debra Mathwig; and brother-in-law, Douglas Schauer.
