Lillie Alice Stock

Lillie Alice Stock was born on March 30, 1932, to parents Frederick and Hannah (Westerbo) Schultz in Artichoke Township, Minnesota. She was the 11th of 12 children. Her childhood years were spent in Appleton, MN. While there, she attended Appleton High School.

Lillie married Henry Stock on November 14, 1949 at Shible Immanuel Lutheran Church in Appleton. After marriage, Hank and Lillie took over the Stock farm and operated it for 10 years. They were blessed with two children, David and Kathleen. They then moved to Prior Lake where Lillie went to work for Control Data. After retirement she continued working- cleaning houses.

Lillie loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, needlepoint and quilting.

At the age of 80 and a resident of Emerald Crest in Shakopee, she passed away peacefully in the presence of her family and entered God’s arms on the evening of Friday, October 26, 2012.

Forever loved, Lillie will be deeply missed by her son, David (Kim) Stock, Prior Lake; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Doble, Tara (Ryan) Thompson, Trudi Stock, Trina Stock; great grandchildren, Samantha and James Doble, Tait Thompson; her sister, Elly Rakowski, Appleton, MN, and many other loving relatives and friends.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Hank” Stock, daughter, Kathleen “Kathy” Tonne, parents, Frederick and Hannah Schultz, and 10 siblings.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Doble, Tara Thompson, Trudi Stock, Trina Stock, Samantha Doble and James Doble.

Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 4-7 PM at Ballard Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant Street S.E. in Prior Lake and one hour prior to service at church. Funeral service is Saturday, November 3 at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prior Lake. Reverend John P. Vaughn presiding. Interment at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
