I grew up next to the Leonards . John was a fellow left hander that would lend his mitt to me on the rare occasions I needed one. I remember those summer days when a bunch of the neighborhood kids would be on Leonard’s porch playing Risk. John was always a nice guy and I’m sorry to hear of his passing.

John and Steve were a big part of grownup along with all our other cousins. John was a great guy that loved any sport from playing ball to fishing. Had a good laugh with John a few months ago with him saying “you guys always said there isn’t any fish in the lake” because we never caught any!
We will miss you John .

I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I was a 22 year old kid when I started working with John at Go/Dan, separated by a cubicle wall. I knew nothing about radiators, but John was patient with me and we quickly became my mentor, confidant, lunch buddy, partner in crime and friend. I worked with John for less than 2 years, almost 30 years ago, and I can still hear his distinguished and infectious laugh because we shared so many of them. John will be missed and remembered fondly.
