On Wednesday, October 14, 1942 in Springfield, MN, Dennis was born to parents Henry and Ella (Nickel) Karow. He grew up on the family farm in Sanborn, Minnesota. Dennis graduated from high school in 1960 and on December 4, 1961 he married Linda Schauer of Storden, Minnesota. Dennis was a man of many talents and early in his marriage to Linda, he engaged in several careers. He worked as a farmhand, manufacturer, cabinet maker and carpenter. Shortly thereafter, Dennis opened his lawn care and snowplowing business. In 1998, Dennis and Linda left Fish Lake to continue their life in New Prague, Minnesota and then later to Lakeville, Minnesota. Condolences for the family of “Dennis Karow”

Condolence from Katherine Brewer on May 27th, 2014 12:39 pm

I knew Dennis, only from coming promply to do yard work on my yards in both New Prague, and Prior Lake MN. When I first met him, I was 22, but had a house on the lake, and answered the door in my sweats holding one of the kids. (I had 2 by then, one on the way!) He asked, Hi dear, is your mother home?? I replied, she probably is, but she doesn’t live here! We both laughed. I knew we would get along, great! I asked him once to come to clean up and cut the grass for a birthday party on Saturday, he said, I can’t. I offered a little more money, being as so many kids were coming. He said, I’m sorry, my weekends are for my wife. He was a very genuine guy, he will be missed!!
