Condolences for the family of “Dean Vogel”

Condolence from James (JJ) Suess on September 30th, 2020 9:05 pm

My brother from another mother, my man, my best man…. There are so many different things to call you, but one thing’s for sure I won’t be able to call you on the phone. I wont’t be able to hear your voice, your laugh or our giggles when one of us answers the phone with our trademark names. Simutaneuosly you give me the “Sneeeee” and I greet you with “Jeeeaaannnn” then like two children we bust into laughter for only our unknown and crazy reasons. I will always cherish the times we had growing up and tearing around together. You were the light in my flame and the spark in my fire. I can’t describe the empty feeling I feel inside; what I wouldn’t give for one more day, one more laugh and one more hot lap. Rest easy brother because when I get to you and we’re together again everyone had better hold on… I love you Dean.
God bless to Arlyce, Scott and your girls.

Condolence from Billee Schaible, JJ’s Mom on September 30th, 2020 9:29 pm

Hi Arlyce,

I sent you a card today. We so enjoyed Dean when he stayed at our house one summer between his college years. He stayed with us so he could keep his apartment in Spearfish and could still work for the City of Pierre. You raised a fine young man. He was a joy to have in our home. So sorry for your loss. Dean will be missed. He was a special boy. God Bless and Comfort YOU.

Condolence from Skylar C. on October 16th, 2020 10:54 am

Dean was always an amazing friend and someone you could rely on. He was always so selfless and caring of others, most times before himself. In the two years we spent as coworkers we made many great memories both during and after hours. Our last time out was a blessing, his love for his mom, his daughters and his homestate of South Dakota shined through him. He will always be apart of the branch and in our hearts.
