So sorry for the loss of your Dad, Dave. I delivered his mail many times. Hold onto the great memories. May God comfort you in your loss.

Condolence from Pastor Ron & Deb Brist on January 7th, 2023 1:51 pm

We loved our dear friend Darrell. He was a prayer partner and attended early Thursday morning prayer and Sunday morning prayer. He was a Sunday front door greeter and served in our Second Harvest Food Ministry. He made his church community an important part of his life.

He also had a dear friend, Lois Richards that was his care giver for many years and gave him much love and support. He cherished his friendship with Lois.

He loved his family and enjoyed times together or even just talking by phone gave him great joy.

Pastor Ron & Deb Brist,
Thank you. Thank you for everything you did for my Dad. The time you took out of your lives to be with him and help him when I couldn’t be there. You gave him friendship, companionship, spiritual guidance and even love. It meant the world to him and he thought the world of you.

Lois, you became a daughter to my Dad. Words aren’t enough to express my thanks for all you ever did for him.

Bright blessings light your paths.

Hi Nancy, David and Tim:

I am so sorry to hear about your dad, my Uncle Peter. I have fond memories of the last time I saw him, when Becky and I had lunch with him and were able to visit for a while. He was a dear, sweet man and will be missed by many. Know that we are praying for you all that you may have peace in your hearts.

Love,

cousin Linda Bluml

So sorry for the loss you have experienced over the last few years, culminating recently. Darrel was wonderful, he was at every Thursday 6 am prayer meeting while he could be, and he smiled so much while he was at church. Nothing could prevent him from greeting under the awning at Friendship’s front door, even when he had to use the seat on his walker. I only knew him from there and giving him rides a few times, but he made a profound impact. I can see him now, greeting people at the front gate of heaven with a smile and a laugh.
