Audrey M. (Jacobs) Spieker

A resident of Jordan, Audrey Margaret Spieker, age 90, entered the entered arms of God, Thursday afternoon, March 6, 2014, at St. Gertrude’s Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, in Shakopee, MN. The visitation will be on Monday, from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 104 West First Street and one hour prior to the mass. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, March 11 at 11 am, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 210 North Broadway Street, Jordan, MN. Father Timothy Yanta will preside. Audrey will be laid to rest at St. John’s Calvary Cemetery. Pall bearers for Audrey will be grandchildren. Memorials are preferred and will be distribute in Audrey’s memory by the family.

Audrey lived her faith so naturally, with a generous, kind heart and a loving personality. She was opened minded and was interested in everyone and everything they did. Sadly missed, Audrey will be remembered always by those who loved her, children, James (Lynn) Spieker of Prior Lake, Jeanne (David) Stanek of Farmington, Mary Frances Mahowald of Chaska, Susan (Mark) Schmidt of Jordan, Kevin (Karin) Spieker of Chaska; grandchildren, Amanda Reardon, Kelley Reiser, Kathleen Spieker, Laura Spieker, Sonja Lusch, Mary Ford, Briana Little, Jason Schmidt, Kristen Barlage, Meghann Schmidt, Steven Schmidt, Emily Reinke, Michael Schmidt, Kevin Spieker, Richard Spieker; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings Elinor Kuhl of Burnsville, Mary Ann Fleming of Livingston, MO, James Jacobs of St. Augusta; sister-in-law, Gloria Jacobs; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Kilian; son-in-law, Donald Mahowald; parents, Fred and Claudia Jacobs; siblings, Georgina Jacobs, Daniel Jacobs, Yvonne Jacobs, Fritz Jacobs; brothers-in-law, Vernon Kouhl, Pat Fleming; sister-in-law, Carol Jacobs.
