I am saddened to hear about Ardene’s passing, but am so grateful that I had the chance to know her. She wrote a beautiful article about my family for the church newsletter a few years back. Ardene was a delightful lady whom I met many years ago through church. Our paths crossed again when I worked in downtown Prior Lake and she would show up with homemade treats she had made for our office. She continued these yummy gifts to us for a number of years. Eventually I was to move out of Prior Lake and then out of the state but whenever driving down Highway 13 and past her house I always thought of her and wondered how she was doing. It was with a saddened heart that I read of her passing. Please know that her children and their families are in my prayers!

I’m sincerely sorry for your loss of this fabulous, grace-filled woman. I had the privilege of bringing to her and sharing with her the Sacrament of Holy Communion a week before her death. She showed many how to live in faith and she showed many how to die in faith. I will greatly miss the depth of the conversations I enjoyed with her.
Thank you for your condolences and for the spiritual support. She lived and died with grace and dignity.
Ardene Neve’s Family
Ardene and Bill were my wonderful aunt and uncle and they were sponsors at my baptism in 1951. Time slips away so quickly, I had hoped to visit her last year and didn’t make it. I have so many wonderful memories of Ardene and Bill and spending time with your family playing games and running around at the Neve farm in Walters. I especially remember Thanksgiving with Ardene, my mom (Linda), Margie, Erylss, Beverly, Judy, and our grandmother wearing aprons, laughing, and cooking a wonderful meal for at least 20 of us! I can still smell the turkey cooking in the electric roaster. There was something very special about Ardene — her kindness, cheerfulness, and impeccable taste. She loved each of you, Charlie, Doug, and Katherine, so much and was very proud of you. I know you will miss her terribly. My husband, Gene, daughter Karin, and I extend our very deepest sympathies to you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Cousin Debby –
She loved family!! Thanks so much for condolences.
