A visitation time will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 beginning at 10:30 AM with traditional Buddhist prayers beginning at 11:00 AM. A final viewing will take place following prayers. All services will be held at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (833 S Marschall Rd.) in Shakopee.
Anderson was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. A hardworking man, Anderson worked as a chef and shared those talents at home as well. He cooked the best food ever, especially seafood and crab. His happiest moments were with his family—cooking for them, having family dinners, and grill outs. Anderson loved his family deeply, including his cats Baku and Dior.
No matter what, Anderson was the life of the party. He would socialize, dance, sing karaoke, and make others laugh with his sense of humor. Anderson enjoyed traveling, playing cards, watching football, maintaining his cars, and taking bike rides. He also had great fashion sense.
Anderson is loved and missed by his wife, Tuyet Cao; children, Mary Nguyen Shaw (Beau Shaw), Mimi Cao (Nghia Mai), Vicki Cao, and Michelle Cao; grandchildren, Baby Shaw (Due February 2022); father, Tu Van Nguyen; sisters, Tuyen Nguyen (Khiem The), Hong Nguyen (Ha Tran), Diep Nguyen (Vinh Duong), Linh Nguyen (Loc Le); brothers, Tung Nguyen (Christina Nguyen), and Vu Nguyen (Tam Cao).
Preceded in death by his mother, Hoanh Thi Nguyen.

It’s been almost 8 months since you’ve been gone.. felt like yesterday when I got the news. Some days are easy and some days are hard. I miss you so much. I wish I can call you and hear your voice. I wish I can give you one last hug and one last good bye. Please guide me through life and look down on me and the rest of the family. I love you so much dad
