I spent time with Wade in CA a couple years ago and when he lived in LA for a time. We laughed and talked about music and life just like old times. Wade was always affable and fun. I know he will be sorely missed by his family and so many friends. Such a shame to be gone far too soon. Rest In Peace my friend. See you on the other side.. M.

I got to know Wade for 1/50th of his life. We spent many awesome adventures on the Mountain at our cabin in the woods in WA. He loved coming up for wood chopping, fishing and hiking. Our last time together was the days before his flight to Kona. He was about to go on an adventure and we were so happy for him. Hawai’i is paradise on this here Earth, and although the timing was ALL wrong, I’m not surprised that he exited in the presence of Mama Pele. He taught me to play Black-Jack, and allowed me to enjoy 80’s music among the Classic Rockers, He made me feel respected and appreciated as Eric’s best-friend. Thanksgiving will be a wonderful memory – It was the Christmas Tree of all mother Christmas Trees that Wade helped get into the cabin. I’m grateful to being able to call him a friend. I can’t imagine how the rest of you feel, knowing him for so many more years!
Mavis, Curtis and Heidi, Kennedy and Zach and all the rest of your loved ones, my deepest, heart-felt condolences. He loved generously and was a kind soul.
Aloha, friend…Go soar with the eagles for a while!
