All our love and sincere condolences to the Oldenburg/Pekarna family. Tracie was a such a loving, kind hearted woman with a great sense of humor. She was a great mother and best of all the creator of my BFF Trevor. We will miss her greatly and cherish the memories we have of her.

So sorry for your loss, Dan. Tracie was one of my favorite people to hang out with in high school as she got my dry sence of humor. With a heavy heart my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

One night I dreamed I was walking
Along the beach with the Lord,
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there was only one.
This bothered me because I noticed
During the low periods of my life when I was
Suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord, You promised me,
Lord, that if I followed you,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed during the most trying periods
Of my life there has only been
One set of prints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
Have you not been there for me?
The Lord replied,
The times when you have seen only one set of footprints
It was then that I carried you.
My love and prayers to the Pekarna and Oldenburg family. Tracie was a gem of a lady. I have so many memories of love, family and laughter. You were an amazing mother, and a geat friend. My blessing was getting to know you and calling you not only a friend but my family. Peace is at your side and I know you will be watching over all of us. Love you Tracie.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I’m so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of your Mom from weekends at the cabin, a few Easters and trips down to the 90’s!
