At the age of 60, Steve Russo passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home. He was born on May 22, 1957 in Shakopee, MN, to parents Emmanuel “Manny” and Verda (Busse) Russo.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 11 am, with a time of gathering starting at 9:30 am, all at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 5634 Luther Road, Prior Lake, MN. Pastor Bruce Laabs will preside. Steve’s pallbearers will be Charles Schutt, Roxanne Roemer, Rachel Roemer, Mitchell Roemer, Bill Bymark and Craig Tercero. He will be laid to rest at a private family burial at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Prior Lake, MN.
Left to honor Steve’s life and mourn the death is his son, Anthony Russo and his mother Caroline Rogers; mother, Verda Russo; siblings, Jennifer (Nick) Roemer, Kathleen (Bob) Schutt, Bruce (Darlene) Russo; nieces and nephews Mitch Roemer, Rachel Roemer, Roxy Roemer, Charles Schutt, Rebecca (Josh) Jackson; many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death and there to welcome Steve home is his father, Manny.
