At his home in Shakopee, MN, Raymond M. De Georgeo was 85 years old when he passed away peacefully in the presence of his family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake and one hour prior to the Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, November 29 at 11 am, at St. Michael Catholic Church 16311 Duluth Avenue SE, Prior Lake. Father Tom Walker will preside. Ray will be laid to rest at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, with full military honors provided by the Prior Lake V.F.W. Honor Guard, Post 6208. Memorial are preferred and will be distributed in Ray’s memory by the family.

Ray was born on September 28, 1931 in Hazel Park, Michigan, to parents John and Benedatta (Evangelista) De Georgeo. He proudly served in the United States Army. Ray married Carol Sabo on May 3, 1958 at St. Christopher Church, Detroit, MI. They were blessed with three children, Joyce, Michael, and Patricia.

Left to honor Ray’s life and mourn his death is wife, Carol; children, Joyce De Georgeo, Michael (Su Ann) De Georgeo, Patricia (David) Schumacher; grandchildren, Julia, Joseph, Carter, Cole; sister, Josephine Evangelista; many relatives and friends.
