Born on August 2, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN, E.A. “Ted” and Anna C. (Nusser) Berdan announced the birth of their beautiful son, Patrick Michael Berdan. Pat married Elaine Schueller on July 2, 1966 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, MN.

At the age of 69 and a resident of Burnsville, Pat died peacefully surrounded by his family the late evening of Sunday, November 27, 2011 at his home.

Forever loved, Pat will be deeply missed by wife, Elaine; son, Christopher (Manami) Berdan of Robbinsdale; daughter, Katie (Tom) Voller-Berdan of Duluth; grand girls, Sophia Voller-Berdan, Kennedee Berdan; sister, Marnie Roberts of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Donna Berdan of Nisswa: many other loving relatives and devoted friends. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Anna; birth father, William “Peter” Harriman; brothers, Paul and Robert Berdan.

The visitation will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake and one hour prior to the mass at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 4625West 125th Street, Savage. Father Mike Tix will officiate. Pat will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, with full military honors.
