Timothy Ralph Wagner

Timothy Ralph Wagner, age 65, of Prior Lake, MN, sadly left his family on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

A time of gathering will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake and with an additional gathering on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 9-9:45 am, and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 16400 Duluth Avenue SE, Prior Lake. Father Tom Walker will preside. Tim will be laid to rest at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

Timothy Ralph was born on September 14, 1959, in New Prague, Minnesota, to Michael and Eileen (Lenzmeier) Wagner. He was raised on the family farm near New Market alongside his six siblings, being the third of seven children.

Tim married Mary Kay Borka and established a home on ten acres near where he grew up. There, they raised three children, Joshua, Cassandra, and Jacob. Tim had great love for his children and grandchildren. They were his world and brought him the most joy.

Tim was loyal and dedicated both to people and at work. He worked at Despatch in Lakeville, MN for 44 years, from age 17 to 61, until he retired. An extreme love for the outdoors, Tim found great enjoyment hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He appreciated anything with speed and adventures that followed riding on his motorcycles, snowmobiles and four-wheelers. You always knew Tim was around by the sounds of classic rock music playing.

On August 1, 2017, Tim experienced the loss of his son Joshua. This profound loss deeply affected him and contributed to challenges with depression and mental health over the next years. Tim will be remembered for his incredible work ethic and practical skills, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a thrill seeker and the life of every gathering. Tim’s infectious laugh and endless supply of jokes and stories filled the room.

Tim will always be remembered by those who loved him children, Cassandra (Jon) Evans, Jacob (Jamie) Wagner; former wife, Mary Kay Wagner; grandchildren, Elliot, Oliver, and Arthur Evans, Clara, Cleo, and Cullen Wagner, and Grayson Wagner; siblings, Tom (Joanne) Wagner, Terry (Bev) Wagner, Jeff (Sheila) Wagner, Alan (Gina) Wagner, Mary Beth (Rick) Kroyer, and Lori (Eric) Skunberg; and other relatives and friends.

Tim was welcomed home in eternal peace by his son, Josh, and parents, Michael and Eileen Wagner.
