Known as Patrick to family and school friends and as Thomas to many other friends and coworkers, he was born on March 17, 1948, in Iron River, Michigan to Thomas Eugene and Regina (Demmer) Moore. He graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1966 and joined the United States Air Force which included a year’s tour of duty in Viet Nam. After an honorable discharge, Patrick attended the St. Cloud Area Vocational Technical School studying Industrial Electronics. He worked as a computer technician for Control Data and Seagate. Patrick married Joan Meller on April 17, 1982, and they resided in Prior Lake.

Patrick will be remembered for the ease with which he made loyal friendships, his ever ready “Howdy”, and especially for his lifelong love affair with the automobile which was nearly matched by his affection for classic country and bluegrass music. He had an innate and often irreverent sense of humor he freely shared no matter the situation. Patrick and Joan enjoyed attending bluegrass festivals and car shows, camping and being with family and friends near and far. They traveled extensively.

As a long-time member (and past Commander) of VFW Post 6208, Prior Lake Sportsman’s Club and The Minnesota Street Rod Association, Patrick was a willing and reliable volunteer. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Prior Lake.

Patrick is survived by his brother, Michael (Rita) Moore, his sisters, Mary Moore, Maureen Moore, and Kathleen Moore, and nephews Thomas Moore and William Moore.

He is also survived by Joan’s family: Elaine (Allen) Walter, Earl (Joan Dearing) Meller, and Linda (David) Fuchs; nieces and nephews Michael (Katie, children Will and Anna) Walter, Jeffrey (Kelly, daughter Ila) Walter, Lorraine (Doug) Bowlus, Kathrine Walter (Aaron Etshokin), Nicholas Meller and Christopher Meller.
