Savage, MN — Stephen Robert Swiatek, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, July 29th at Abbott Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Born on January 21, 1963, and delivered by his grandfather in Chicago, IL, he was the beloved husband of Michelle Swiatek (Brandt) and a cherished member of the Swiatek family.
Steve lived a life rooted in his love for family and always putting others first. He spent his career as a Manager at Tischler Finer Foods, dedicating 40 years to exemplary customer service and a sense of community. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and fishing, his compassion, easy-going presence, dry sense of humor, loyalty, and the love he poured into his roles as a husband, father, son, sibling, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle, of 36 years, 5 children, Evan, Jacob, Benjamin, Allison and Samuel, mother Alice Swiatek (Trickey), siblings Suzanne Jeffers (Robert), Christopher Swiatek (Virginia) and Andrew Swiatek (Laura) and preceded in death by his grandparents, father Kenneth Swiatek, brother-in-law Michael Brandt, mother-in-law Judith Brandt and father-in-law, Gerald Brandt. He was the uncle of 15 nieces and nephews and the great uncle to 7. His legacy continues in the lives of all he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL.
