Sean Thomas Hendrickson

Sean Thomas Hendrickson, of Jordan, passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2026, at the age of 49. He was known for his bright smile, contagious laugh, and warm, welcoming personality. Sean had a way of making everyone feel like a friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sean was born in Rochester, Minnesota, on March 23, 1977, to Thomas and Gale Hendrickson. After the loss of his father at a young age, Sean shared a special bond with his mother and his grandparents, Belton and Janet Romness. Some of his favorite childhood memories were spent at his grandparents’ home, playing in the river and enjoying the outdoors.

Sean grew up in White Bear Lake, where he developed a love for being outside and discovered a natural talent for billiards—a passion he carried throughout his life.

Sean met Nicole at a friend’s wedding, and their connection was immediate. They were married on September 13, 2008. They spent some time in Shakopee before settling in Jordan to raise their family. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Allie and Avary.

Allie and Avary were the light of Sean’s life, and his whole world revolved around them – from sporting events, to endless hours on the boat, to dad/daughter ski trips – Sean just loved being with them. He was endlessly proud of them and spent countless hours supporting them in everything they did. Whether it was coaching from the sidelines, researching ways to help them improve, or simply cheering them on, Sean was always there.

Sean also loved being on the water—boating, water skiing, and fishing, especially on trips to Bay Lake, Voyager’s National Park and Lake of the Woods. When he wasn’t on the water, he could often be found on the golf course, enjoying time with his league and friends at Ridges Golf Course. His friends meant the world to him and truly became like family.

Sean will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and the genuine care he showed to everyone in his life. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Hendrickson; daughters, Allie and Avary Hendrickson; grandmother, Janet Romness; other loving relatives and many wonderful friends. Sean was greeted in Heaven by his parents, Thomas & Gale Hendrickson; and grandpa, Belton Romness.
