Roger E. Schwie

Roger E. Schwie, age 88, of Prior Lake, MN passed away surrounded by his family on June 19, 2025, at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with closing prayers at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372. Roger will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Roger is loved and will be missed by his loving wife, Carol; children, Dan (Kathy) Schwie, Mary Jo (Mary Kate) Loughran, Beth Ann (Kurt) Guthmueller, Kimberly (Sigmund) Froiland; grandchildren, Sarah (Germaine) Lindsey, Helen (Roberto) Schwie, Claire and Ella Guthmueller; great grandchildren, Ember, Kane, Micah, and Naomi; brother, Dale Schwie; kitty, Shilo; and other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents, Kermit and Isabelle Schwie; and sister-in-law, Kay Schwie.
