It is with shattered hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert “Bobby” Steven Shotliff, who left us far too soon at the age of 35.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM with a Visitation from Noon - 1:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 104 1st St. W, Jordan, MN 55352. Bobby will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Jordan, MN following the service.
Born on September 13, 1989, Bobby burned with a fire all his own — wild, uncontainable, and unforgettable. Bobby was a rebel by nature. He never bowed to convention. He never walked the easy road. He never once compromised who he was, as he was loyal to all his friends and family.
He was incredibly strong, both in body and in spirit. That strength carried the weight of his burdens that few others could handle with such grace.
He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, and gaming. He was also an artist whose paintings reflected his vibrant spirit.
His life was enriched by his late dog, Rocky, whom he shared many years with.
He was a devoted uncle. He cherished time with his nephews and nieces and found joy in every moment shared with loved ones.
Survived by father Joseph Shotliff of Henderson, MN and mother Tamera Alger of Gaylord, MN and their respective partners, Robin and Rusty. Sister Angela (Jason) Fernandes of Henderson, MN and children Mason, Conner, and Gavin. Brother Christopher (Sarah) Shotliff of Kerrville, TX and children Jackson and Josephine. Brother Curtis (Katelyn) Shotliff of Sevierville, TN and children Gabriel, Ezekiel, and Luella. He was loved by all.
