Patricia "Patty" Cutaia

Our beloved sister, Patricia "Patty" Cutaia, age 63, of Rochester, MN, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Mayo Clinic - Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. She is now reunited with her mom and dad. Patty's life was filled with challenges, but she faced them with grace and dignity, always doing her best.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11 am, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 16400 Duluth Avenue SE, Prior Lake. No visitation will be held prior to the Mass. Father Tom Walker will preside. Patty will be laid to rest at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Ability Building Center in Rochester, MN, and Fourth Avenue Homes of Willmar, MN.

Patty graduated from Lourdes High School in 1981 and embarked on a journey through various jobs before settling into her lifelong career at The Ability Building Center in Rochester, MN. There, she dedicated over 34 years to her work and made many friends along the way. Her colleagues at ABC will miss Patty dearly.

Patty really enjoyed the simple things in life. Her favorite activity was playing Bingo, which she would often enjoy while visiting her sisters in the Twin Cities. We envision Patty enjoying endless pop, playing bingo with Mom, as Dad rolls his eyes. Patty also enjoyed folding laundry and dining at her favorite restaurants, Subway and McDonald's. She cherished her time living at 4th Avenue Homes, where her caregivers became like a second family and took great care of her; they will miss her dearly. Patty's life was made beautiful by all the time, effort and work they gave to make things happen for her.

Patty is survived by her siblings: Kathy (Michael) Wilmes, Mary (John) Pribble, Nancy Cutaia, David (Joyce) Cutaia and numerous nieces and nephews. They, along with Patty's other relatives, will miss her greatly, but they find comfort in knowing she is in heaven, enjoying a joyful reunion with her parents.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Thelma Cutaia, by grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family and friends who welcomed her home.
