Nancy Jean Potthast

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nancy Jean Potthast (Miller), a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend who passed away peacefully in her home on August 24, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Chris Potthast and survived by her children Sharie (Matt) Barslou, Michael (Brandi) Potthast, grandchildren Ashley (Zach McCullough) Brown, Matthew Brown, Tyler Brown, Thomas Potthast and Andrew Potthast. Sisters Beverly (Doug) Yeager, Bobbie (Mike) Evavold, and sister-in-laws Sherry Schommer, Jeannie Partlow, Patty Jenny, and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy lived a full life, was always on the go and never ran short on conversation. She loved visits/visiting, coffee and doughnuts and adventures with her family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday Sept. 19, 2024 from 1–4pm at Nancy’s home. A private burial will be held at Fort Snelling Cemetery at a later date.
