Martina (Sireno) Malm

Martina “Marty” (Sireno) Malm passed away on September 16th, 2025, surrounded by family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2 pm, with a gathering 30 minutes prior, at McKenna Crossing, 13810 Shepherds Path, Prior Lake, MN. Marty will be laid to rest at the Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church Columbarium.

Marty was born the youngest of 4 children on December 6, 1941, in St. Paul, MN. As a teenager, she met and fell in love with Gilbert Malm, whom she would spend the next 66 years of her life married to.

Marty spent many years working in the beauty industry, including time with Avon and a decade as the fine jewelry department manager at Dayton’s. In her spare time, she did volunteer work at Ridgeview Medical Center and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. She pursued many hobbies over the years, but her favorite was crocheting. She spent countless hours crafting blankets and scarves for loved ones.

Marty is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Angelo Sireno, her sister, Jen Prettner, and her son, Gilbert Malm. She leaves behind innumerable friends and family members, including many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
