Kristen Noel Boutwell

Kristen Noel Boutwell was born on August 17, 1967, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to John Lamar Harrelson and Shannon Anne Cloclough. She passed away peacefully at her home in Shakopee, Minnesota on November 26, 2025, with the love of her life, Kyle, by her side.

From the moment Kristen met Kyle in Tennessee, it was love at first sight. For 27 years, they were rarely apart—living, working, and adventuring together. For work, they blacktopped side by side, where Kristen proved to be an exceptional roller. They shared a love of amusement parks, especially Valleyfair and Six Flags, where they enjoyed riding the biggest and best attractions.

Kristen had a deep love for the New Orleans Saints, animals, and the outdoors. She treasured her walks with her dog, Huntley, and cared lovingly for her cats—Annie, Baby, Girlie, Cowboy, Sadie, and Honey. She felt most at home in nature, whether wandering through the woods, swimming, or leaping from cliffs and bridges. Kristen also had love and appreciation of plants, she had a green thumb taking wonderful care of her house plants and she enjoyed unwinding with a little greenery of a different kind.

Kristen will be forever missed by the love of her life, Kyle Gallagher; her beloved dog and loyal companion, Huntley; her feline friend, Annie Bear; her sons, Sam Boutwell and John Harrelson; her daughter, Jalyn Newcomb; granddaughter, Piper; and her sister, Amy Bullock. She was preceded in death by her parents.
