Kirk L. Gerry

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kirk L. Gerry, age 74, of Prior Lake, Minnesota, on May 9, 2026.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 9:00 - 10:45 AM on Friday, May 22, 2026 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 16400 Duluth Ave SE, Prior Lake, MN. Father Tom Walker will preside.

Kirk met the love of his life, Geri, and the two were married on June 16, 1972. Together they built a beautiful life and family, raising four children and welcoming eight cherished grandchildren and one adored great-granddaughter.

Kirk retired from Seagate in Shakopee after 45 years of dedicated service. He was a loyal Minnesota sports fan, even though there were many seasons of heartbreak and disappointment. He loved fishing, golfing, and especially spending time with Geri and family at Old Barn Resort in Preston, Minnesota.

Above all else, family meant everything to Kirk. He is survived by his loving wife, Geri; children, Jessica, Anthony (Tara), Adam (Rhiannon), and Michael (Jessica); grandchildren, Erika, Trent, Ariella, Madelyn, Addeline, August, Lucas Kirk, and Lenora; and great-granddaughter, Aurora. He is also survived by his sister, Monica Kranz (Kasey); in-laws, Ginny, Jim (Karen), Tom (Kathy), Billy (Gregg), Donny (Marie), Chip (Patti), and David (Doreen); along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends who became family even though they are not blood relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Lorraine Gerry (Kneifel); brother, Dennis Gerry; in-laws, Robert and Mary Kudrle (Haefner), John Kudrle, Jani Kudrle, and Sandy Gerry; and nephew, Daniel Kudrle.
