Gary P. Klingberg

Gary P. Klingberg, 56, of Shakopee MN, passed away on December 27, 2025. A Christian Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM, with a Time of Gathering from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Ballard Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 104 1st St W, Jordan MN. Gary will be laid to rest at Spirit Hill Cemetery in Jordan following the Christian Funeral. Pastor Jeremy Glowicki will preside over services.

Gary Klingberg was born in New Prague and raised in Jordan, where he grew up as the youngest of his siblings. From an early age, he was known for his sarcastic, straight-shooting personality. Gary attended Jordan High School and, after graduating, went straight into the workforce.

He had a deep love for cooking and turned that passion into his career. Over the years, Gary worked at several well-known local establishments, including the Horse and Hunt Club, the Ok Corral, and the Feed Mill. He spent seventeen years at Wampach’s Restaurant, where his skills and dedication truly shined.

Outside of work, Gary enjoyed going to the casino and listening to rock and roll, especially Judas Priest. Most of all, he valued time spent with family, whether that meant relaxing together or playing their favorite game, Crazy 8.
