Diane Mary (Gorman) Roszell, age 81, of Farmington, MN, formerly of Prior Lake, MN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Mala Strana Care Center, in New Prague, MN.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM with Visitation time from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at River Valley Church, 14898 Energy Way, Apple Valley 55124. (Please enter Door C). Pastor Katrina Severson will preside. Diane will be laid to rest at Assumption Church Cemetery in Richfield, MN.
Diane was born and raised in Richfield, Minnesota where her father, Roy, and mother, Lorraine Gorman, raised her as an only child.
Diane went to Assumption Catholic School in Bloomington through the 8th grade, then finished high school at the Villa Maria, an all-girls catholic school in Red Wing, MN. She made many friends there that have lasted through her lifetime. Diane loved playing basketball and golf and riding horses. Diane’s Christian background led her to a strong faith that was her utmost passion and passed that on to her children.
Diane worked at 3M company in the Eagan / St. Paul area where she retired after over 30 years of service. She was grateful for the many friends she made while working.
Diane’s children, Michael and Kelly, were the most important people in her life and made sure they had their special fun Friday nights with special treats / movies on TV and pajama “snuggle time” with Mike and Kelly. Diane and her kids would often visit Grandma and Grandpa and enjoy time on the Bischof farm.
Later, Diane became the “Nahnee” to her 5 grandchildren, Cody Roszell, Jordan Roszell and Mariah (Roszell) Thompson, and Emma and Ellie Warras. Nahnee enjoyed family vacations, hockey games, traveling over many states for special holidays, birthdays, and just seeing her family together. Diane’s neighbors would enjoy bible studies and neighborhood game nights with snacks, laughter, and just friendships growing.
A special thank you to the staff at Mala Strana in New Prague who gave the best care and love to Diane.
Diane is survived by her children, Michael (Susan) Roszell and Kelly (Dean) Warras; grandsons, Cody Roszell and Jordan (Jessica) Roszell; granddaughters, Mariah (Tyler) Thompson, Emma Warras, and Ellie Warras; and great-grandchildren, Bently, Mackenzie, Aiden, Josie, and Jack; and other loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lorraine Gorman.
