Deborah "Debbie" Jean O'Keefe

Age 69, of Prior Lake, passed away on August 23, 2026.

Debbie was born in New Prague on June 1, 1957, to Francis "Bud" and Margaret O'Keefe. One of seven children, Debbie and her twin brother, Dan, were the youngest of the O'Keefe family. She was raised in Prior Lake, a community she was always proud to call home.

Debbie graduated from Prior Lake High School in 1975 and always cherished the friendships she made growing up, especially the close relationships she maintained with many of her Class of '75 classmates. Debbie was friendly, social, and loved the people of Prior Lake. Those friendships and connections remained very important to her throughout her life.

Debbie was the proud mother of her daughter, Nicole, whom she loved deeply and who held a very special place in her heart.

She also had many fond memories of summer vacations on Gull Lake and enjoyed camping and woodworking.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Francis "Bud" and Margaret O'Keefe, and her brother Tom Clyde (Bev). She is survived by her daughter, Nicole O'Keefe; siblings Peg O'Keefe (Steve Williamson), Kitty (John) Pallanch, Jim (Michelle) O'Keefe, Connie O'Keefe, and her twin brother, Dan (Cyndie) O'Keefe.

Private family services will be held, and she will be laid to rest at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Prior Lake. A Celebration of Life will take place 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Prior Lake VFW 6208.
