Deborah Bauer Carnevale

Deborah Bauer Carnevale (née Kyte), age 58, of Prior Lake, MN, passed away peacefully at home on July 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Her warmth, compassion, and unshakable faith touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on January 22, 1967, in St. Paul, MN, Deborah dedicated her life to caring for others. As a devoted nurse, she brought comfort and healing to countless lives. Yet her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and embraced her role with unmatched love, pride, and enthusiasm.

Deborah was deeply proud of her family's commitment to military service. She held a strong respect for those who served and took immense pride in supporting her loved ones who answered that call.

A woman of strong faith, Deborah’s relationship with the Lord was at the heart of everything she did. She took great care in sharing her beliefs with her grandchildren, nurturing their spiritual growth and instilling in them the values she held so dearly.

Deborah is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Carnevale; children, Logan (Camila) Bauer, Lucas (Sandra) Bauer, Joseph Carnevale, and Marissa (Mitch) Young; and her cherished grandchildren; Makailah, Johann, Lucas, Lillian, Nicholas, Mia, Harvey, Lennon, and Margot. She is also survived by her siblings, Louie Kyte and Jesse Kyte; and many other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Kyte and Karen Walta.

Deborah’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. To honor her memory, we invite you to carry forward her spirit by showing kindness to others, living with compassion, and nurturing faith within your own families—just as she so lovingly did every day.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with closing prayers at 12:15 PM, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN. Deborah will be laid to rest at 1:30 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Ave S, Mendota Heights, MN.
