Christopher Daniel

Christopher Daniel, age 52, passed away on August 8, 2026. A Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held at 10:00 AM with Visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN). Chris will be laid to rest at Concord Hill Cemetery in Spring Lake Township, MN.

Christopher Michael was born on August 20, 1973 to Johnny and Shirley (Adams) Daniel in Atlanta, GA. When Chris was four years old, the family moved up and settled in Minnesota, where he lived an active childhood, playing outdoors with his best friends, Dan and Jamie. Chris graduated from the Prior Lake Christian School and began his working years at Mystic Lake Casino as a blackjack dealer before taking a job with Delta Airlines, where he stayed for 26 years until his passing.

Chris loved soccer, anything to do with aviation and aircraft, and eating pizza and Doritos. He also cherished his two dogs, Joy and Pepper.

He will be greatly missed by his sister, Dana (Doug) Lentz; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Dan Barnes; and many friends at Delta.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Shirley Daniel; brother, Johnny W. Daniel; and best friend, Jamie Schultz.
