Christine Jennifer Gnade

Christine Jennifer Gnade, 57, of Shakopee, passed away on October 17, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Ballard Sunder Funeral Home in Shakopee (833 Marschall Rd.) at 11am. Prior to the Celebration, there will be a Time of Gathering from 10-10:45am. Christine will be laid to rest at Valley Cemetery following the Celebration.

On January 18, 1968, Christine was born to parents Arvin Gnade and Beverly Eichoff She was one of 6 children that grew up in the Shakopee, Chaska, and Carver area.

Christine was blessed to have two wonderful children; Cody and Victoria. Since her daughter needed specialized care, Christine put her caring and responsible personality to good use. She acted as her daughter’s caregiver for most of her own adult life. Family was the most important thing to Christine and she showed it.

When Christine needed some time to herself, she could often be found spending some time looking for deals so she could add to her collection of Precious Moments figurines and crystals. But if it was a Sunday in the Fall, you can bet that Christine was watching and cheering for her favorite team; Minnesota Vikings.

Christine is survived by her children, Cody (Tilly) Gnade and Victoria Gnade; granddaughter, Raelynn Gnade; and siblings, Julie Oliver, Bud (Darlene) Gnade, Greg (Misty) Gnade, and Nick Gnade; nephew, nieces and grand nephew and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arvin Gnade and Beverly Eichoff; and sister Kathy Gnade.
