Carrie Williams

Carrie Jill Williams (née Gould), 64, of Jordan MN, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2025, after a long illness.

Carrie was born on July 19, 1961, in Philadelphia to Mitchell Gould and Marsha (Gene) Vietor. From a young age, she was known for her compassionate heart, her love of animals and her gentle spirit. She especially cherished the companionship of dogs and found joy in watching the birds at the feeders outside her window.

Carrie will be deeply missed and survived by her partner of 45 years, Tom Williams; parents, Mitchell Gould and Marsha (Gene) Vietor; brother, Scott Gould; sister, Stacy (Tom) Shuman; step-brother, Mark Gould; step-sisters, Becky Guiren and Kari Vietor; and extended family members, Cathy (Vic) Kohman, Joe Williams, Mark (Gayle) Williams, Mike (Wendy) Williams, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Hoffman; niece, Julia Hoffman; and grandparents, Max and Lorella Goldstein.

Per Carrie's wishes, there will be no service; the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter or wildlife organization in her honor.
