With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carrie Lee Anderson, 47, of Prior Lake, Minnesota, who passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Ballard Sunder Funeral and Cremation, 4565 Pleasant Street SE, PL. Pastor Jac Perrin will preside.

Born on August 25, 1977, in Ely, Minnesota, Carrie spent her childhood in Motley and graduated from Staples-Motley High School in 1995. She pursued higher education in the Minneapolis suburbs, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration. Carrie was known for her warmth, creativity, and boundless compassion.

In 2011, Carrie met Jason Anderson, and they married in 2015. They settled in Prior Lake and welcomed their son, Chase, in 2017. Carrie was a devoted mother, always supporting Chase in his activities and planning family adventures.

Carrie had a passion for life and nature, enjoying boating, gardening, and celebrating holidays with her creative touch. She was a vibrant presence, known for her humor, brilliance, and stylish flair. Carrie was selfless, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear to those around her.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Jason Anderson; her son, Chase Anderson; her mother, Marinell Philipp; her goddaughter, Jade Hane-Buchwitz; Aunts Linda Hane, Lori Diekoff; and Uncle Forrest Skeesick. She is also remembered by countless friends and extended family.
