Bob Hovorka

Bob Hovorka, age 70 of Shakopee, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025.

On May 3, 1955, Bob was born to parents Jack and Mary Alice (Healy) Hovorka. Along with his siblings, Bob grew up in Schuyler, NE. After high school, Bob went on to graduate from Kearney State College in Kearney, NE.

In 1988, Bob met Bonnie (Uphoff) at work. Their friendship grew into love and they were united in marriage in 1994 at the St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN. Later that year, Bob and Bonnie welcomed their daughter, Ally.

Bob was a caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, watching football, and traveling to the North shore of Lake Superior.

Bob is loved and missed by his daughter, Ally Hovorka; sister, Mary Kay Scott; niece, Hayley Scott; nephew, Jack Scott; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; his father, Jack Hovorka; mother, Mary Alice (Healy) Hovorka; brother, Bill Hovorka; and brother-in-law, Shawn Scott.
